I need to up my game on my choice of tea. I love tea and drink it throughout the day from breakfast right into the late afternoon. My regular house tea is Yorkshire or Twinings brand but after I saw SWNE's post about Fortnum & Mason, I went on the hunt for something different to try.
While searching on Google, I stumbled upon Harney & Sons. It arrived yesterday and I just brewed a pot and it's a very nice tea: Scottish Afternoon, a black tea.
I can't wait to receive my Fortnum & Mason which I ordered from Williams-Sonoma. I hope will make tax season a bit more enjoyable.

It is always nice to see a post about tea!
ReplyDeleteI like Harney and Son's quite a bit but I think Upton Tea makes the best cup. I usually purchase the Scottish Breakfast blend, the spoon nearly stands up!
Fortnum and Mason's is my favorite Earl Grey tea.
ReplyDeleteBeing English I'm always interested in hearing about Americans drinking tea. It is of course our drink of choice and coffee is a distant second in our home. Being a Yorkshireman, I of course drink Yorkshire Tea from Taylors of Harrogate. It needs to be strong and well brewed and of course piping hot.
ReplyDeleteHow do you feel about Ty-Phoo tea? I just ordered some.
DeleteTo be honest I haven't drunk Typhoo tea for a long time, but it was the tea I grew up drinking and drank for many years afterwards and I always thought it was a very good tea. Very much a British staple product. I'm sure you will enjoy it
